The laboratory section, which is one of the 3 main parts of the Friterm R & D center, is necessary for comparison of theoretical calculations and product performance.
As a result of these comparisons, the differences are arranged in the software and allowing the software to give a real output.

Friterm Termik Cihazlar A.Ş. has been conducting research and development activities for many years. In 2017, the company was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and received the title of R&D Centre.
Laboratories are designed to characterize the thermal performance of finned tube heat exchangers and provide experimental verification of theoretical design calculations. The laboratories contain two air conditioning rooms: Test Room 1, designed to measure the performance of finned tube heat exchangers and established between 2008 and 2009 and Test Room 2, commissioned between 2019 and 2020. The laboratory infrastructure also includes a test unit specially designed for thermal performance tests of oil coolers, as well as a closed- and open-cycle wind tunnel for evaluating the flow and heat transfer characteristics of different airfoils. There are also various test setups for thermal performance measurements at different scales.
The R&D Laboratory's primary objective is to verify the theoretical modelling of finned tube heat exchangers through experiments and to test the validity of the developed formulations. Laboratory activities are carried out in accordance with internationally recognized standards, such as TS EN 328, EN 327, EN 1216, EN 1048 and ASHRAE 33. Systematic analysis of product performance under different operating conditions provides scientific and reliable data to support product development processes. The Friterm R&D Laboratory aims to be a center of excellence in terms of reliability and accuracy within the sector, thanks to its comprehensive testing infrastructure and engineering expertise.
